EANNASO is a regional network of civil society (CS) and communities across Anglophone Africa. Its mission is to scale up meaningful community engagement in shaping national and regional responses to HIV, TB, and malaria. The organization also supports community action aimed at ending these epidemics, aligning with SDG 3 (Sustainable Development Goal 3, which focuses on good health and well-being).
EANNASO has active membership within the East Africa Community block and serves as a focal point for community networks throughout Anglophone African countries. It comprises 7 national member networks and 16 focal point national networks of civil society and communities, giving it an extensive reach to over 15,000 civil society and community groups across Anglophone Africa.
EANNASO also hosts the Anglophone Africa Regional Learning Hub for the Global Fund. With over 20 years of experience and a network of 2,000+ CSOs and community groups, we have provided technical assistance to more than 25 organizations, reinforcing civil society’s role in public health.
